No matter what the economy, women love something new in their closet. When times are good, women tend to purchase luxury items. When they are being more cautious, women tend to extend the life of their high quality staples and add a pop of color or trend, depending on their style and station in life.
Spring 2010 finds us shopping as cautious optmists. Therefore we are cheering up our tired closets, primarily with pops of color. Every year, Pantone publishes the colors for the season. This year, it is a blend of neutrals and pops of blues, reds greens and yellows.
Topping the list is turquoise. And why not? If flatters every skin tone, is cheerful and can be worn with a wide array of colors. I love turquise with white or black best. It is also an earth tone go to. And if you are a little more daring, pair turquoise up with yellows, reds or purples….you will be a success that draws all eyes on you!
