I have always had something in my closet I call “The Uniform.” It is a “go to” on days when I just can’t think about what I am going to wear. It is always flattering, comfortable and flexible enough to work through whatever the day brings. This little black dress would fit the bill.
Constructed of jersey, this little black dress by Jax has a high round neckline and short cap sleeves. which is generally good for someone with a large bust (the exception is probably someone who is petite who should probably avoid the cap sleeves). Stitching at one side radiates out creating an asymmetrical shirring effect. Loose and comfortable on one hand, the dart details on the neckline and waist give it just enough of a fit so that it does not come off as an oversized tee shirt. Many of us who are not ready to wear minis again will find this knee length dress is perfect for every day wear. The one thing I would recommend is to shorten the dress to the top of the knee.
