With all the super short skirts and skyscraper high heels for Spring, I am finding it increasingly difficult to find fashion that is appropriate for career women. I do love the belted look of this season but with my very short waist, I find it challenging to wear.
This jacket from Doncaster is a beautiful and fashionable alternative. The belt is threaded through tabs at the waist so that it is only visible at the front. The back has a stiched down diamond pleat detail with all over topstiching. Other notable features are a slit cuff detail so that the sleeve can be worn either full length or bracelet length with a single cuff; a covered snap hidden at the placket so that the jacket looks very neat at the front; a back shoulder yoke and princess seams and waist darts for easy alteration to the perfect fit. The jacket is made of linen for that comfortable summer look but fully lined with a stretch lining to maintain a neat look.
