Eco friendly bag from EbagsHave you seen the Eco-Friendly Handbags this season?  With all the new fabrics and many of the top designers jumping on board, the next question may become, “What’s your wallet?”

No longer is this a boring and utilitarian category.  For example, this handbag from Nahui Ollin is handmade from recycled candy wrappers.  Every bag is unique!  It has a candy wrapper lining and wipes clean with a damp cloth.  Others are made from such products as recycled license plates, sailcloth, bamboo, and non PVC and recyclable environmentally friendly plastics.  Click here to see the full collection of eco bags at eBags.

Even the organic hemp handbags are beautiful colors and are offset with environmentally friendly hardware.  And for the economically responsible, these handbags are considerably less expensive than their non eco-friendly counterparts!

Chocolate bar, anyone?

Hello everyone, I really like the idea of using recycled materials to make something new and fresh. Such a great way to help the environment out, and with everyone becoming a little bit more aware of the planet and reducing carbon foot print I think we should be encouraging each other to do more for the environment. All the little steps we do make an improvement. I do all these, but I have also changed the way I send greetings cards. The amount of paper birthday cards, and Christmas cards we send every I was shocked to think at how much money I was spending, and the amount of resources I was using. To change my ways, I have now become a bit of a fan of e-Cards. I think they are such a good way to help the environment, no paper required, so less trees to be cut down! This has to be a good thing! I have done my research and I have finally come across a really good Environmentally Friendly e-Card site. I really like this site, it was so easy to use. One of the best things about it is that it is totally free. However, the main point of it is that you are reducing the paper you use, so less trees to be chopped down. I think this is small step to take in reducing the amount of waste we have! Hope you all find this useful, Kind Regards, Nic.
