I feel so honored to have the opportunity to celebrate a new president, the beauty, the splendor, and the enduring hope of freedom like no other in our country. 
And, Whatever your political leanings, you cannot help but agree that Michelle Obama’s style is absolutely elegant. She looks absolutely stunning today.. put aside the fact that the weather in Washington D.C. is bitterly cold and windy! There were a few other icons and icons in the making that caught my eye as well. Sasha and Malia mirrored their mothers elegance. The other person who stood out to me was Aretha Franklin heating up a frigid day with her signature rendition of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” in her beautiful derby! I think most dressed more for the frigid weather than the fashion statement but the first family truly stood out. Stay tuned…it is going to be a fashionable presidency!
